Who can join classes?

Classes are suitable for all abilities, from beginners to fitness enthusiasts, and everyone in between.

What is Zumba Gold?

Zumba Gold is a modified version of Zumba designed for older adults, focusing on low-impact movements, muscle strengthening, balance, range of motion and coordination.

Do I need experience?

No experience is necessary; all levels are welcome to join and enjoy the classes.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing and supportive shoes suitable for dancing and exercising.

What is the difference between each class?

Zumba classes are high-intensity and include jumps, twists and shimmies. Tracks tend to be faster paced and will get your heart pumping!

Beginners Zumba classes have the same fast-paced moves but they are simplified and more repetitive so they are easier to learn. They routines are taught at a lower-intensity (less jumping) however, class members can add extra bounce if they want to increase the intensity of their workout.

Zumba Gold tracks are slightly different as they are targeted at an older demographic and include rhythms such as tango, cumbia, cha-cha-cha and mambo. Routines are easy to follow with moves that are gentle on the joints.
